James knows what it takes to be a professional. During his time as a DJ, he was hired by Mediaport Entertainment, Billboard’s Most Innovative Company of the Year in 2004, to travel the United States and help retail stores launch digital music strategies. He logged more than 100,000 miles and the unique experience of working with Sony, Warner Brothers, Universal Records and EMI.
He has raised more than $25,000 for scholarship funds, the March of Dimes, breast cancer survivors and more. He’s very well spoken, smart and personable. Jesse recently graduated from Utah Valley university with a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Communications. Being a DJ has been Jesse's passion since he started nearly 12 years ago. As one of our longest, most experienced DJs, Jesse has done it all. Said to be one of the best DJs at the Sundance Film Festival, Jesse is full of skill, music knowledge, and charm.
Jesse is experienced in weddings, school dances, corporate events, clubs, college dances, and more - all over Utah. Some of his notable appearances, in addition to the Sundance Film Festival, have included guest performances at Studio 600 in Salt Lake City - Utah's most popular dance club. Jesse is also an expert on a microphone. Having hosted several awards and fundraising events, Jesse is much more than a handsome guy and can make certain your wedding or event is entertaining and fun for everyone involved. As the first-place winner of the 2002 Telemundo Latin DJ Battles in Utah, Luis, better known as DJ Azuquita, established himself as THE go-to DJ for all the most popular Latin events in clubs throughout the state.
Luis is equally charming in both Spanish and English and is every bit as confident scratching and looping the sounds of Salsa and Bachata on the dance floor as he is emceeing the memorable moments in your life.
