Sara Fry
Event Planner

A huge fan of music and entertainment, Sara loves helping clients plan and create unique and memorable events. She studied and graduated with a degree in communications with an emphasis in event planning. She has worked in the customer service industry for 15 years and offers a unique understanding of client needs. She takes care of every possible aspect for an event so that clients can feel relaxed and prepared to enjoy their event. She is energetic, reliable and will go the extra mile for any client.

Sara is the very proud mother of two children. She loves playing with her children, traveling, spending time in the outdoors and singing.

Julio Martinez
Professional DJ & Emcee

Julio was born with the natural talents of a DJ and is our most requested DJ. Growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and San Diego, music naturally found its way into his life. From pop to big band and from smooth jazz to Latin music, Julio Martinez has been able to make a lasting impression on his clients and their guests using his very unique ability to mix and match music.

When he's not deejaying, Julio is spending time with his wife and family.

Jesse Thomlinson
Professional DJ & Emcee

Since the age of 12, deejaying has been Jesse's passion. Jesse interacts perfectly with clients and guests at events and knows his music so well you will never have a problem with guests not dancing. Said to be one of the best DJs at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, Jesse is full of skill, music knowledge and charm.

Jesse is loyal to his clients and works extra hours to prepare for each event to make sure every event is a success. Clients enjoy his friendly personality, his professional demeanor and extensive experience as a DJ and emcee.

When Jesse is not deejaying he can be found on cruise ships around the world enjoying the sun and traveling.

Alan Ashby
Professional DJ & Emcee

Alan (or "Al") has spent most of his life working in the entertainment industry. He is considered to be one of the most experienced and knowledgeable entertainers in the western United States. Large or small, detailed or simple...Al has the experience necessary to make any event successful.

Passion and customer service are at the heart of Al's of work. Clients enjoy his persistent interest in creating a fun, unique event. He works with clients one-on-one to understand exactly what they're looking for and then goes and creates exactly what clients have envisioned.

When Al isn't deejaying and entertaining clients he is spending time with his wife, family and convertible car.

James Kissell
Professional DJ & Emcee

James has been a DJ since 2001 and has performed at hundreds of events across the country from California to Washington, D.C. During his time as a DJ, he was hired by Mediaport Entertainment, Billboard’s Most Innovative Company of the Year in 2004, to travel the United States and help retail stores launch digital music strategies. During his experience at Mediaport he had the unique experience of working with Sony, Warner Brothers, Universal Records and EMI.

James is committed to delivering the highest quality of entertainment to his clients. He works with each client one-on-one to ensure a seamless and stress free event. More than anything else, James wants his clients and their guests to be satisfied with his work and will go to great lengths to see to it.

In his free time, James enjoys the ocean, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Spencer Shell
Photo Booth Specialist

Spencer is a great addition to the Utah Jive family of talented entertainers and specialists. Photography has been a childhood passion of Spencer's since the age of 11. He uses his years of experience, and other professional training, to ensure clients receive the highest quality experience with their photo booth rentals. Spencer is fun and goes above and beyond to help every guest enjoy their photo booth experience. He's friendly, helpful and resourceful.

Spencer is happily married to a beautiful wife and in his free time loves photography, music and watching old films.

Jonas Helgren
Photo Booth Specialist

Jonas is the brain behind each photo booth. He oversees each photo booth and makes sure that each photo booth runs without problems and is maintained and ready for use. Jonas is a fun personality at any event and can sometimes be found making friends with everyone.

Currently in his free time, Jonas loves working on his newly purchased home and spending time with his girlfriend.
